CBRE: Global Intranet

Connecting a Global Company.

As a global leader in its field, CBRE operates in over 40 countries. Collaboration and communication among its 44,000 employees are critical to best serving its clients, and a robust global intranet is a key tool to ensure success. CBRE operated more than 30 separate, disconnected intranets across nearly 10 different technology platforms. Employees struggled to locate accurate, up-to-date information, and content publishers struggled to target their content using outdated technology. 

In 2014, I led the effort to reinvent, rebuild, and relaunch a new, truly global intranet. The core project goals were to streamline communication by driving high user engagement with content and features, increase productivity by enabling employees to perform their jobs more effectively, build a scalable, reliable, efficient technology platform, and reinforce the CBRE brand through a world-class user experience.
